Sig Behrens

Sig, with 25 years in the Public Sector market, is the CEO of Permuta. He has held pivotal roles at several companies including co-founding Kenner Technologies and undertaking leadership roles at Stratasys, Blackboard, and Microsoft. At Microsoft, he ascended to General Manager of its largest vertical, securing a historic agreement with the US Air Force and Defense Agencies in 2004 and significantly expanding Microsoft’s Business Applications business.

​In his role leading Microsoft’s US Education business, Sig developed groundbreaking public-private partnerships, initiated Microsoft Xbox and Kinect into classrooms, and represented Microsoft at prestigious educational forums. He holds a bachelor’s degree in international politics from Pennsylvania State University and resides in Washington, D.C. with his wife and three children.

Vice President of Federal Sales

Hank Prokop

Hank Prokop is the Vice President of Federal Sales at Permuta, bringing 15 years of experience in bridging the gap between the private sector and federal agencies. Starting his journey at Dell, he led successful contracts and the first US Air Force hybrid deployment team in Dell’s history. At Redgate, Hank spearheaded a significant partnership with the Department of Defense and elevated the federal sales division by introducing tailored, cyber-secure, and cost-effective solutions for the government.

Hank, who holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from The University of Texas, actively contributes to federal advisory boards and is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of federal liaisons. He resides in Austin, Texas with his family.

Marty Jennings

Marty Jennings is the General Manager for the Product Group at Permuta Technologies. He leads a team of experienced Microsoft Certified developers that produce and maintain over 400 individual applications that support unique Federal and Military use cases worldwide.  Prior to joining Permuta, Marty worked in industry as the Chief Cloud Architect and Chief Engineer for Leidos’ 10-year, 10B Global Services Management – Operations II IDIQ contract with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Prior to that Marty retired from the Air Force in the rank of Colonel after 30 years, 3 months, and 3 days of service to our nation.

Katie Patterson

Katie Patterson, is Permuta Technologies Director of Finance & Operations. As a member of the leadership team, Ms. Patterson has multiple roles from Finance to Human Resources. She has over 10 years’ experience within the government/contractor space. Prior to joining Permuta in 2017 she worked on-site at a customer’s location working day in and day out with DefenseReady. Ms. Patterson graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting

Services Practice Manager

Gary Cirujales

Gary Cirujales is the Services Practice Manager at Permuta bringing in over 20 years of experience with team building, software development, and digital transformation. Prior to rejoining Permuta, he was a Principal Business Applications Technical Specialist in the US Education Industry at Microsoft helping to tackle the largest of problems at a state level and for healthcare practitioners in his focus on state departments of education and academic medical centers. He also spent time as a Solutions Architect for Microsoft Federal specializing in solutions delivery for the Department of Defense and Homeland Security, to name a few. He was a contributing member of Microsoft’s Disaster Response team, bringing technology solutions to solve some of the toughest emergency situations.

He started out his career as a college intern building software for armored personnel carriers and tanks then as a communications officer in the US Air Force. Upon transitioning from the military, he joined Permuta and helped take their “greatest hits” and put those design patterns into a product used worldwide today known as DefenseReady. This product took him to San Diego where he evangelized DefenseReady to US Special Operations as a Program Manager, using the software to support their Preservation of the Force and Family initiatives, all related aspects of military readiness, and promoting the “build (and pay for) once – share with all” mentality. He holds a Masters Degree in IT from Capella University, a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, is a certified Project Manager (PMI PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), and a Citizen Developer Business Architect (PMI CDBA) and resides in Austin, Texas.
